Patrol Rifle Course

Develop mastery over your patrol rifle in this intensive 4-hour course. Officers will gain the skills to deploy rifles in high-stress situations, learning confidently

  • Mechanical Offset: Precision target engagement from 3 to 50 yards.
  • Malfunction Clearance: Quick and efficient techniques to address malfunctions.
  • Tactical Reloads & Manual of Arms: Perfect reloads and transitions between high- and low-ready positions.
  • Decision-Making Under Stress: Immersive drills that enhance judgment in critical moments.

Handgun Optic Course

Optimized for officers using Optic-equipped pistols, this 4-hour training ensures accurate and reliable performance under pressure. Learn to:

  • Zero and Confirm Your RDS: Master sight picture alignment and target acquisition.
  • Recoil Management and Multiple Target Engagement: Improve control for faster follow-up shots.
  • Strong Hand/Support Hand Use: Perform confidently with either hand in varied conditions.
  • Reflex sight Specific Malfunctions & Positional Shooting: Train to clear malfunctions and shoot from different stances.

Designated Marksman Course

This advanced marksmanship class is ideal for officers tasked with precision shooting up to 600 yards at long distances. In this 4-hour session, participants will:

  • Confirm their DOPE from 100 to 200 yards, ensuring consistent accuracy.
  • Engage targets at 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards, building confidence and precision.
  • Complete the FBI 100-Yard Qualification for marksmanship.
  • Learn to account for environmental factors such as wind and bullet trajectory at extended ranges.

  • Currently employed in the various branches of the law enforcement departments within the State of North Carolina. Judges, court officials, solicitors, probation and parole officers. To include PPSB Certified Armed Security Officers.
